CHAPLAIN & TEACHER OF RMPS
Required for August 2010
Queen Victoria School seeks a Chaplain who will lead the worship of the School on school days and Sundays, provide appropriate pastoral care and also be a member of the teaching staff. The successful candidate will have been ordained within the Church of Scotland but will lead worship on an ecumenical basis in recognition of the diversity of the School’s intake.
The Chaplain will teach Religious, Moral, Philosophical and Spiritual Education (RMPS) within the timetable of the P7, S1 and S2 year groups, as a minimum. There may be scope to include the teaching of examinable subjects, for a suitable candidate.
